Itinerary Help – 21 Days (or more?); Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Tokyo April 2023

Hi all!

*M&F early 30s travellers in Japan for 21 days in April 2023. We enjoy markets, parks, food, long walks around cities, learning about new cultures, etc*

We had an itinerary about 3 months ago however need a HUGE makeover for some days.

Furthermore we received an offer to extend more days on this trip and we are open to do it.

There are some days to be determined and that’s what I need, all opinions/advice are very welcome! 🙂

* ***Important side notes:*** *Airbnb/Places to stay are already booked so we can’t change cities of this itinerary till the 21st day, after that it’s totally free.*
* ***Bonus Question:*** *is there any day that we’re fitting too much? We generally walk around 15-18 miles(25/30 kms) in these kind of trips.*

  1. If you extend your trip you might consider a trip up north as you could chase the cherry blossoms. Not sure what your exact dates are in April but the [Sakura in Tohoku typically bloom starting in mid-April.](https://jw-webmagazine.com/cherry-blossom-spots-in-tohoku/) We loved our trips up to the Tohoku area.

On your way to/from Kinosaki, plan to stop off at Himeiji Castle too.
