It’s that time of the week again. Please boast and share about the good things that have happened to you this past week!

  1. One of my students since elementary school will be starting college in Spring and will be studying English. I am happy for him. He messaged me yesterday asking to meet up but I couldn’t as I’m studying in Germany at the moment.

I will send him a postcard from Germany congratulating him on his success in the future. I’m happy to know that he remembered me after 6 years.

  2. Looks like (relatively) decent weather in Kanto on Sunday. Goes back to cold afterwards but spring is at least trying to poke its head through

  3. Toddler is getting into Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters a lot more which is fine by me because I prefer them so much compared to Anpanman. Gives me an excuse to buy cute Sanrio goods lol. Besides Puroland is so much better than the Anpanman museum and it’s free for 2 year olds.

  4. Went to the BSB concert on Tuesday with a coworker. Best night of my life.

    Also my first concert ever!

  5. I posted in the complaint thread last week about always feeling tired. Well, this week I’ve been going to bed just 30 minutes earlier every day and man, what a difference those 30 minutes make. I’ve felt so much more rested and energetic the whole week, and my mood is way better too.

I hope I can keep this up long term!

  6. Thanks to the people in that recent thread who confessed to eating weeks-old or even months-old expired natto, you gave me to the courage to eat five-days expired natto and I was totally fine.

  7. This has been a very fulfilling week for me.

Was invited to see babylon on the big screen with two of my share-house mates. Everybody cooked lot’s of sweets for the valentine so I also got into the mood and made european style potato salad and some desserts for everybody. Received a heart shaped choko from a girl.

Since moving to the share house I have much more femininity around me, it feels like a change for better. Now I can confidently say I have some friends who happen to be girls.

On the weekend I went for a long run at Arakawa as the weather was superb and ended up jogging down about 20k. This weekend might go to Nikkori and climb some mountains, see some nature.

This week mark’s a month since me moving to Japan and so far it’s been fantastic.
