Hi Redditors,
Need a local help to verify some updated information about Osaka Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku. I frequently review my itinerary for April and also YouTube video so that I can stay up to date with the current tourist event in Japan.
Recently, I come across a video showing that Tsutenkaku is under construction and also the iconic puffer fish is no longer there, and the restaurant will not light up in the night as well.
**Question:**
* As below itinerary, should still visit Shinsekai?
* Are there any recommended places that we can visit at night or for dinner? (We will be in USJ whole day until USJ closing time of 7pm)
**Day 1:**
* 8 am – 11am: Arriving Narita
* 11 am – 4pm: Shinkansen and check in hotel near Umeda Station
* 4 pm – midnight: Dotonbori / Shinsaibashi-suji / Hozenji Yokocho Alley
**Day 2:**
* 8 am – 8 pm: Universal Studio Japan
* 8 pm – midnight: Shinsekai / Jan Jan Yokocho
Lastly, thank you all who read and reply to this post.
