We got an **opportunity to extend our trip** however we have no idea to what place should we choose

I think you have to little planned IMO. most of the days you have things that take only a couple hours and nothing else planned.
Spend some time in an onsen town
Looks good to me! Trust me don’t plan too much. Just wandering around is fullfilling enough sometimes. Especially in Toyko:)
I honestly think it’s good to not plan too much each day.
I loved having days to just chill and do what I want – Japan has so much to offer, you won’t get bored.
It’s nice to feel like you’re actually on holiday and nothing wrong with being spontaneous.
Sometimes it’s even nice to have a lie-in or spend time in a cafe.
