Hi, I’ve teaching myself Japanese for a few years now, before Migaku even existed, and back when MIA was still a thing. Back then, we just used MIA’s free anki add-ons and pitch accent would be smoothly implemented into your cards, with color code and all (which is what I want).
But then, the MIA program split into refold and Migaku, and Migaku is basically a paid service.. which I’m interested in, except the pitch accent stuff I got for free previously. Luckily, for a couple years I don’t think Migaku really bothered to crack down on people still using this anki add-on without being a member of their service, but after doing some RTK stuff (again) for a while I got back into adding a sentence once again, then it said:
“Anki is not connected to the Browser Extension.”
I even downloaded this so called browser extension and quickly realized that their free plan gave crap. It was only like seven days to use even anything. I’m not sure if the internet at my workplace (I’ve been doing this at my workplace) is funking something up, or if I’m missing something, or did Migaku really just crack down on users like me?
If so that kinda sucks bc I only care about the color-coded pitch accent on my sentence cards. Other than that, I don’t care for their service; respectfully I don’t feel like I need it. I’ll go and download a different pitch accent add-on if I have to (probably without my ever-so-valued color codedness) but I wanted to ask before I do that.
