So yesterday I posted a essay/forum over who was the best member of the Third Generation between Yuji Nagata and Satoshi Kojima, after Nagata won the Triple Crown from Kento Miyahara, this making both men a part of the class of wrestlers to hold the IWGP, GHC, and Triple Crown, and many said they didn’t know they’re earlier work.
This is quite simply one of my absolute favorite tag matches of all time, with Nagata teaming with a pre-insanity Iizuka to take on the invaders from AJPW, Four Pillar legend Kawada and one of the dirtiest players in the game Fuchi.
All four men play their parts to the hilt, with Iizuka working great as the underdog babyface, Fuchi as the sneaky rule-bending heel, Kawada as the brutal asskicker, and Nagata as the defender/resident badass of NJPW.
