Migrate to Japan

Hello. I’m not sure if this subreddit discusses these things, but I really want to migrate to Japan. But, I heard that migration is forbidden in Japan and I can’t go there and stay forever. Has anyone heard such a thing? Is it true?

  1. It clearly seems you’ve done no research into this at all. It would be better if you went away and did some research on this topic and then came back with specific questions.

  2. If you have no connections or any history there, do not possess a critical skilled job such as surgeon or nuclear engineer, let alone speak Japanese, your chances of migrating boil down to the language teaching path. And that likely will not become permanent. You could have an interesting few years though.

  3. You’re gonna need to provide provide a little more information as your enquiry is quite vague my friend! I’d quite like to make $5-million a day but there’s also an extremely hard process to achieving that! 😂

It can be done but there’s a process to it, like many things in life. Perhaps you can check in with your local consulate for further information or read up on other people’s previous experiences regarding migration to Japan?

    Good luck!

  4. Japan’s immigration system is pretty straightforward: something or someone needs to guarantee your stay. In my case it’s the company I work for. But you can also marry a Japanese and then your partner can be your guarantor.

Easiest way is to find a job though… Daijob.com/en can help you with that.

  5. I immigrated and got permanent residency. No idea why you thought this was impossible. There’s tons of foreigners living normal lives here.

  6. Bro migration is forbidden world wide. It’s not a Japan thing.

You gotta find an educational reason or job to get a visa to stay in Japan for a long period of time.

It’s not too difficult to meet the criteria unless you’re a NEET.

You got a lot of reading to do. But the student pathway is the best way to get your foot in the door, and to learn the language.
