  1. If you’re into rolls and some decent nigiri my city has AYCE everywhere. Outside of omakase experiences, I honestly find the roll quality to be the same in cities where rolls are a la cart. I also personally like smaller roll bites with AYCE, i have found a la cart in big cities is still filled with a lot of filler like rice and krab mix. Nigiri suffers a bit, but when it’s ayce you can order as many nigiri as you want. The AYCE can be nice for the times you want to just eat nigiri or times you want rolls. Often the chefs will do a sort of omakase when it comes to nigiri too if you ask them to be creative and make what they want. It’s a pretty good deal in my opinion. Again, this isn’t comparable to a legit omakase experience, but not bad for soothing cravings.

Lunch is typically $25 and dinner is typically $30 some menus have more items on dinner, but not all.

  2. God damn, I miss AYCE sushi. The places around me either closed down, raised their prices to obscene amounts, or won’t even do it anymore. Theirs a new restaurant opening up closer to where I live, that’s supposed to do AYCE Japanese food. Hopefully they have a decent sushi selection.
