Hello, I soon going to travel to Japan (5 months Kyoto and 5 months Tokyo, and maybe Okinawa for some time) and I would like to know if anyone knows real Kyokushin Karate Dojos in those places because the websites I found the training there was 1x week, 2x month….
Thank you

You probably should reach out through karate kyokushin federation you are associated with.
Konishiwa
What are you looking to do? Are you already training under a Kyokushin dojo in your home country?
Depends on the Kyokushin organization, the membership would work differently (typically not transferable).
To my knowledge, it’s actually not common to train temporarily in one dojo versus another unless you have close ties/have sensei’s recommendation letter. It’s not like having a Equinox gym membership…
I had the pleasure of training in Japan when I was living there. I first of all needed to arrange it with my own dojo and have my head trainer contact the federation. I got recommended to the dojo in Iidabashi, Tokyo and went three times a week. I first had to bring the necessary paperwork from the organization and my home dojo and register and then pay the monthly fee (which was around ï¿¥10000).
