I finally received the email asking us to sign up for dates/times for the CIR interview out of DC. The problem is, I’m currently living in Tokyo so the time difference is quite significant. By the time I was able to check the email all time slots were taken and the only one available puts me at 3-4AM JST. I emailed the coordinators asking if they could accommodate and was told that they couldn’t, but said that they could reach out to other applicants with earlier time slots to see if they would be willing to switch for me. If anybody here is a hopeful CIR applying from DC hopefully you can see this post and have some sympathy for me lol I would be eternally grateful 🙏

Man I had to fly back to the UK from Japan for my CIR interview in 2019; worst case at least it’s just a late day/early start for you. Good luck in your search!
I feel for you, but agree that, worst case scenario, you just get a very early start to your day. My interview was in the afternoon but before a night shift. After my interview, I was too full of nervous energy to try for a nap, so I did some cleaning and relaxed with a cup of coffee, haha. Then, I worked my 12 hour shift. It was brutal, but worth it!
