Hi everyone,
I’m planning to move from Tokyo to Fukuoka and I would like to know what kind of price (average) I can expect.
I have been looking to the subreddit and apparently most companies first estimate are full bullshit so that’s why I’m asking here. (I saw some prices for Osaka but not as far as Tokyo-Fukuoka)
For details:
About items:
– refrigerator, washing machine, queen size mattress ,
– computer screen, pc tower
– desk, table (as a bunch of plates or rods, so not taking much place)
– bunch of boxes (clothes, various stuffs) like 10-15 boxes
so like maybe a full midsize truck ?
For timing : let’s assume I will not move on price hike (like golden week, weekend,…)
Like 30万円 would be a fair expectation or should I expect to pay more ?
Thank you in advance for your help. Nice if you have alike experience to share

More. I moved from Nagano to Tokyo during off season (July) once, that was 45万, and we moved half by ourselves in our car.
Then moving from Tokyo out into Kanagawa like, not close to Tokyo Kanagawa was 15万.
Again we moved about half ourselves and just used 赤帽 for big stuff.
Think about it, you are literally moving the length of the country. It’s not going to be cheap. Get multiple quotes, try your best to haggle prices down, ship stuff through the mail/kuroneko if you can or calculate what an amalgamation of that would be.
Tokyo to Kyushu is a big ask to keep under 50万, in my experience personally with moving and helping Japanese friends move.
I moved from tokyo to Niigata (around Niigata city) with a lot of stuff and the price was ¥330k
We did London-Fukuoka for 75 man. Full 3 bedroom flat with sofa, beds, the lot.
Fuji/Shizuoka to Sabae/Fukui: 8万円 with a Brazilian company.
