Hi guys!
This is a version 2 of my itinerary. I had to change up a number of things due to dates shifting for events and one of the locations I was originally going not offering some stuff I wanted to see.
Anyway! This is my second trip to Japan so I broadly know what to expect. More just checking to make sure I am not missing anything glaringly obvious in the places I’m going. I’m a 26 year old solo traveller. Fan of concerts, anime, film, sometimes temples and shrines, baseball, drinking, food lol. And yeah just anything glaring please let me know, or suggestions on things to add or switch up!
**April 5**
Land in Tokyo mid/ late afternoon. Get to my hotel in Shinjuku, check in. Looking at grabbing some okonomiyaki in the area– suggestions welcome– and then head over to Omoide Yokocho for a nightcap or two lol.
**April 6**
Gonna clean up a few places I missed last trip. Kichijoji in the morning and lunch, then over to Koenji for some exploring. Then head to Shimokita in the evening for dinner and a concert!
**April 7**
Disneysea all or at least most of the day.
**April 8**
Fly to Kagoshima early AM. Check out Sengan En and the city. Looking to eat some Satsumaage for lunch and Kurobuta or Kuroushi for dinner, suggestions welcome!!
**April 9**
Check out the Museum of the Meiji Restoration in the AM, then I have Hawks tickets for the evening exhibition game at the Heiwa Lease Stadium in Kagoshima. Any insight into that stadium would be great… can’t find too much online about it.
**April 10**
Take the train to Nagasaki, check out the Dejima area in the afternoon and evening. Any recos for Toroku Rice or Champon?
**April 11**
Gonna do Hashima Island in the morning, and then Glover House and area in the afternoon.
**April 12**
Head up to the Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb museum. See the one-legged torii… etc.
**April 13**
Take the train to Fukuoka. Check out Nakasu, Tenjin, and Canal City throughout the day. Eat ramen (suggestions?). Head to a yatai at night and stuff!
**April 14**
Take the train to Kitakyushu for a day trip. Check out the Mojiko area, Railway Museum, TOHO museum. Then in the evening take the train back to Fukuoka and head to Fukuoka Tower.
**April 15**
Fly back to Tokyo, probably wander around Akiba most of the day. Maybe go to another concert at night or something.
**April 16**
I have most of this day still in the city so I’ll probably spend a few hours in Akiba or Shinjuku or something, then take the flight home!
