Three new NJPW trainees from NJPW’s Tough Enough style show ‘The Spirit’

1. ‘The Spirit’ is a Tough Enough style show on FujiTV that began in January with Okada and Liger training a bunch of every day guys including a 47 year old if I am not mistaken. The finale aired today and these three passed the test to become young lions.

   Based on [Chris Charlton’s tweet](https://twitter.com/reasonjp/status/1635623140968783873) and [Oiwa’s tweet](https://twitter.com/njpw_ryoheioiwa/status/1635467369513623557), they will become young lions and it is not just for the show. Prowling twitter and using google translate, I think their names are Omura(15 years old), Yasuda(22 years old), and Kato(19 years old). Yasuda reminds me of Shuji Ishikawa. Seems like [Tanahashi and Taguchi administered the final test.](https://twitter.com/njpw1972/status/1635299677879820295) It will likely be a bit until they are able to debut. Omura will probably finish up high school before joining the dojo full time I imagine.

   Unfortunately, it is only available to watch in Japan from what I can tell. If any Japanese speakers and/or show watchers have more information, please let us know!

2. Really interesting that they accepted a junior high school kid. There’s been unwritten rules for ages that everyone has to be out of high school or have graduated from college to start at the dojo.

3. Really don’t recommand people with no diploma join this business, once you retire you won’t be finding a proper job
