But anyway, no you can just bring your stuff unless it totals a very high value (which I dont remember off the top of my head, but youd need some badass specs to reach it) without any issues or declaration.
There is no Import DUTIES on electronics anyway.

No, I brought my entire PC in (sans monitor and peripherals) back in 2019 and paid nothing. Doesn’t even have to show / declare it to customs.
I brought an entire desktop over with me in my suitcase, no taxes. When I went through security at the end of Haneda I told them it’s my PC, had a laugh with the guard and that’s it
