Has anyone ever worked as an Alternate (substitute) with Interac? What was it like?

  1. From what I’ve heard, you’re “on call” everyday. Essentially just be ready to leave the door if and when you’re called.

You may be given assignments days beforehand. You may have days of “no work”. You may also be asked to move to another region for a period of time.

  2. I did that role for just less than a year. Was supposed to be flexible and move around but ended up in the same location for the whole time because the person positioned there initially bailed and they never found a replacment. (Well… i guess that was me). Heard the same story for atleast 2 other people who were in the same role.

Cant complain though, was just a normal job with Interac but with much better pay.
