Taking the JLPT in Japan, have results mailed to US.

Hey, so I’ve been trying to sign up for the JLPT in Japan this Summer, (As I’m there, for a two month internship), but it seems to require a Japanese address to complete the form. How can I submit my American address, as I won’t be in Japan when the results get shipped?

  1. You can’t. They won’t mail the results outside of Japan if you took it in Japan. If you have family or friends there maybe you can ask to use their address and have them forward it to you?

  2. One problem is also that the test center in Japan will be allocated to you depending of your address. You can’t choose. So no Japanese address – No test.

  3. There are services that act as forwarding points. I bought 100$ of books and paid another 100$ to ship them to me out of country. The shipment would only go around Japan and not to the US so I had to use that sort of service. Google it up and you’ll find a few of them.
