Is arubaito worth it for 6 months in Japan?

I might be going to Japan in October (japanese school), not 100% confirmed, for 6 months.
The question is by the time one gets settled in properly, is it worth pursuing a part time or should I just focus on studying and exploring?
Money is not an issue but it feels weird to spend 6 months without a salary.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

  2. If money isn’t an issue then focus on exploring, making friends, and seeking out new experiences.

Just try to stay out of an English bubble.

    Have fun!

  3. If money is not an issue, get over feeling weird and enjoy. No reason to spend a good chunk of each week stocking shelves in a conbini or something equally mundane.

  4. If you only hang around English speakers at school then get a job. It is a great way to meet natives and learn different language skills.

Even better get a Japanese significant other….you learn all kinds of vocabulary.
