I recently graduated from Koyama Driving School and I am ready to take the final written exam at the license center. However, I was wondering if I need a reservation or not? According to all the paperwork the school gave me, there isn’t anything about making a reservation just to turn up at 8:30-9:00AM and register. On the license center website however, it says that you need a reservation if you graduate from a designated school. Is anyone able to clarify this for me?

Thanks in advance!

Edit for anyone wandering- You do now in fact require a reservation. I went today and was unable to take the test due to not having a reservation.

Don’t know if things have changed now but I just rocked up in October 2020 without a reservation (after passing the practical at a school), took the test about an hour later and was home with my license in about 4 hours.
When I took the written test, I just turned up without an appointment. I did not attend a driving school, however, and it was 2012. So things might have changed since then.
