How do Japanese people find things?

I’ve searched google for things like particular food, but it’s missed some pretty obvious ones. Do people use a different website or what?

  1. I don’t really understand the question. Can you be more specific, give us some examples?

  2. By searching google in Japanese. If you want to find things in Japan it’s better to enter your search terms in Japanese, like 焼肉 or 寿司 or 和食, etc.

  3. You are asking a question like how can people go to poop type.
give us some info like 5w1h(When; Where; Who; What; Why; How)

  4. I’d usually use yodobashi, amazon or rakuten depending on what I’m looking for.

You’re probably using wrong search words.

  5. Unless the food is found at only one restaurant and that restaurant doesn’t have a website, there is no way google is missing something.

Either you are mistaken in the name of the food or you aren’t searching in Japanese.

    Do you have some examples?

  6. If you’re having trouble with English search results, try translating what you want to find in japanese and use that to search. Also use different sites like tabelog for food or yahoo.co.jp in addition to Google and make sure your search settings aren’t set for English only results.

  7. Yahoo is popular.

But Google works just as well.

Can you give an example of what you’ve searched, what it resulted in and what you expected?

Do you search in Japanese or English? You can also try changing the Google settings to return Japanese results.
