Is it sometimes called “soft roe” as well?
No I am not a fan but I will eat it anyway if served it. Hard to avoid at nice restaurants in the winter.

Love love love. Really smooth and silky and savory. Well-prepared, it reminds me of sweetbreads (cow thymus glands).
