Physical shop for glass-framing a poster in Tokyo

Hello,

I hope it is okay to ask these kind of things in JapanLife.

I was gifted a 100x70cm poster. I have never had anything framed in my life. Is there such a shop where I can just take my poster, ask them to frame it with a glass in front (select the type of framing, I suppose), and pick it up at a later date?

I see some online shops recommended in this subreddit, but I don’t like the idea of shipping the poster.

If you know if there is an actual Japanese word besides ガラスフレーム, that would also be useful for googling.

Please excuse my poor English. I don’t really know if glass-framing is the right way to call it.

Thank you so much.

  1. There’s a framers in Kichijoji that I used about 15 years ago that looks like it’s still open. It’s on the path that leads down to the park, opposite Starbucks on the second floor.
