Help with Academic interview—tomorrow!

Throwaway for obvious reasons.
I have been invited to an interview for a position in an MA department of a good Japanese university, and the interview is tomorrow! The biggest problem is they asked for supporting documents (class materials, papers, books, etc. by today). It was a sudden opening, so it is a rush hire, but I am overwhelmed as I have years and years of materials I could send. Any ideas to keep it short but impressive enough to get the position?

  1. You should try posting this at an academia subreddit as well (r/academia, r/GradSchool ).

  2. And since it’s last minute, they want to hire you. So think of it not as having to pass hurdles, but how you can ‘help’ them shoehorn whatever it is you can give them, into their system–so that as your hiring process moves along, it’ll be approved all along the way.

  3. Honestly, if they are in a bind, just give them the things you like the most. You will be more motivated to explain and show them what you’ve done.
Anything in the last five years is usually acceptable.
