I’m interviewing in a few weeks time and I’ve been reading through all the potential interview questions to prepare.
However, most of the ones I’ve found come from applicants from other countries. Are there any South African JETs here who wouldn’t mind sharing how their interviews went and what questions they were asked? Thank you!

Best advice I can give you is to not rehearse previous questions – it will only make you sound disingenuous. Know your SOP, know your own motivations. The interview is a chance for the panel to get to see an authentic glimpse of you.
Look into general interview advice and overall interview tips (not exclusive to JET).
Rehearsing doesn’t help, in my opinion. If they ask you a question you aren’t prepared for, a lot of things can go wrong and you can end up sounding insincere. Just answer honestly. Even if you get all the answers “right”, that doesn’t mean you will get in. They look at a lot of things. Good luck, fellow South African.🍀
Just go and know your whys for what YOU offer the JET Programme and not the other way around. I swear half thr questions are made up on the spot.
Might just be my scepticism, but I get the idea that JET interviews outside of SA can be more strict; and it would make sense, they probably have a lot more candidates to filter through. From previous experience, general interview advice is sufficient.
That said, good luck! I’ll be sitting next to you in this little boat.
Make sure you are able to answer questions based on your letter of mativation. They are really nice actually, just be polite and genuine.
