It’s official. Yoshinoya is the Popeyes of Japan. I swear to god there’s always some kind of weird shit bound to happen each time I dine at one.
Ages 35 and 34… Very little to be doing with themselves
I wonder if Yoshinoya is good in Japan? Because here in LA it sucks. I always get sick if I attempt to eat there.
This is the stereotypical passive-aggressive behavior found in Japan. Start throwing the book at these idiots and give them real jail time. Otherwise, this crap is going to become even more common.
Have these companies made it so people can’t just touch everything? Every restaurant I go to still has a box of silverware or chopsticks sitting out on the table (which anyone could’ve touched).
Obviously these people should be prosecuted. But they’ve shown a light on how disgusting the business practices of most restaurants are, and if change comes from that then at least some good will come out of all this.
I’m not surprise because the age of this two, in Japan adulthood is incredibly infantilized, grow ass man’s in their 40’s have Pokémon toys jumping in the console of their cars and not married or with any prospect of life because they still “too young” man don’t see the consequences of losing their time because there none. Woman for example hit the wall much sooner, in theirs 30’s they already “Christmas cake” with is a analogy for left overs. And also consent sex is at the age of 16 or worse in some provinces. Japan is just fucked up. Only living here to see it
I am kind of “happy” that this happened because after the prank at Sushiro many people were freaking out about eating at kaitenzushi. Clearly, this kind of behavior can happen everywhere: eating from the topping container, licking cutlery in a family restaurant, farting over cakes on a Sweets Paradise, imagination is the limit.
Customers should not punish the establishments, pranksters are those that have to be punished.
Haven’t seen the video, but according to the article all he did was take condiments with his chopsticks. Arresting a guy, and the media turning it into a national headline, seems like overkill to me for such a minor act.

Good – the faster idiots are educated that these “pranks” are a crime and not funny, the better.
publicly shame them. real names only, no “social identity tags”.
I mean real shame, naked, tied to a pole, with a dog licking their assholes, while noting the size, or lack there of , of their manhoods.
Wow a couple of 30 year olds filming and posting this online? Grow tf up.
Japanese always have copycats galore.
I’m sure this is in no way related to TikTok. I would be so surprised.
I’m surprised anyone would attempt this kind of stuff after those guys from the sushiro stunt got deep-fried.
21 days no bail
35 and 34, just wow. Not saying that it would be ok if they were in there teens but man at this point there’s no hope for these people
