The application usually opens sometime around late September or Early October. Don’t worry about your age, iirc the max age is like 65. Age doesn’t really play a huge factor into it, even if most applicants are young.
If you’re in your 20s you’ll be fine. It only really starts counting against you when you near 40 or so.
Canada has lifted age requirements. Basically if you’re healthy, have a degree and are “genki” you can apply. I’m not sure if that applies to all other countries.
I applied when I was 38 and was 40 when I departed. No-one ever mentioned age during my application process.
I’m on JET right now and we just had a late placement come in who is 61. Ya’ll are fine hahaha

JET Programme got rid of the age limit (or at the very least raised it to the point where it’s basically irrelevant). And actually there are quite a few places that prefer someone who’s on the older side (relatively speakig) andnot straight outta college anyway. So definitely don’t worry about that!
