This is gonna be a very short question since I have to go to sleep shortly. But is learning the grammar and it’s rules simple? I know that it’s pretty much reversed compared to English but is there anything else I need to know?
You can basically learn without grammar, through immersion, it takes a loooot of time though. Japanese grammar may seem complicated to English speaker and textbook tend to not explain it well. I can recommend Cure Dolly’s youtube series about Japanese grammar, not memorizing the rules but just getting to know how it works, it’s well explained there and actually makes sense, then just learn vocabulary, kanji and immerse in language through podcasts, Japanese youtube etc.
There are no ordering rules to japanese grammar except that Verb has to be the last thing in the sentence. S O V is a possible order but so is O S V. But in eveyday speech sometimes V, O is also done. 食べたの, 僕のたべものを?
Depends on your definition of simplicity and what feels complex hard to you might not to others. Personally it feels more simple and regular than English to me but others find it harder. Start learning and decide for yourself. The starter guide in the sidebar is a good place to start.
