It looks good but unless they were slammed theres no way that took an hour
Kinda bad you gotta wait an hour to get some machine cooked rice, a bottled sauce, and fried pork.
Idk, maybe just me but I don’t see this as a great thing. Queuing for food like this just seems weird. It’s not high quality or anything.
I like B food, it’s fine. But Japan was a tough place for me to be recently with all the covid protocols and restrictions.
Not sure if that’s why you had to wait, but that was my experience there around Christmas. Lines, restrictions, and waiting everywhere… and it wasn’t even for something special.
It was just endemic.
I love the little metal rack so it doesn’t get soggy.
Why wait so long though? I would’ve gone somewhere else.
Worth the wait.

Had the same meal in Oahu and waited for two hours, and it was worth it.
Looks tasty! Gotta love a good tonkatsu. If you’re somewhere around Tokyo, I highly recommend going to Gyukatsu Motomura!
That looks incredible! Can I ask where this was?
Looks worth it.
1-2 hour for something that is like a snack and comfort food in Japan? Unless that is some special pork, definitely not worth it. You can’t make fried pork cutlet any more special.
