The G7 is supposed to be a group of the 7 largest economies… In practice it is the 7 largest economies after WW2, and has since been more of an economic/development alliance between those countries.
The only countries you could say are being excluded are China and India if you want the current top 7 economies. So I don’t know what this article is about. Plus, it’s really not about the top 7 economies as I previously stated.
