Howdy, my partner and I are going on our first trip to Japan next week. We’ve been planning for about 8 months and are going with some friends who we’ll be linking up with here and there, but mostly will be on our own. Stoked to see what going on over there. Leaving next week and returning mid-May.

Why are you changing hotels mid stay In Tokyo? Is it a points thing or do these two hotels offer some specific aesthetic you want to experience? Your itinerary shows you are willing to travel some distance to get places on public transit. Seems like a wastes of time/energy to me packing up, checking out, transporting luggage, checking in again…
