allergist recommendations in tokyo area

Basically the title. I’m looking to get allergy testing (scratch or blood) in the next couple months. Any recommendations? English speaking preferred but not necessary. I have looked online but information is confusing and coupled with differences between American and Japanese medicine I would appreciate real life, experienced suggestions.
EDIT: Looking mainly to test for food allergies!

  1. Any 耳鼻科 will do these panels (like pollen allergy panels). If Japanese isn’t an issue, I recommend looking up one in your area and seeing google reviews. Google reviews are usually in English and can be helpful in finding an English speaking doctor. If you’re having reactions on your skin to medicine or something, try going to the 皮膚科. I go to an English speaking doctor in Shimokitazawa called Hira dermatology clinic.

  2. Ogikubo hospital has a fantastic English speaking dermatologist. Highly recommended but you need a referral to see her.

  3. Two recs, both excellent: Dr. Kimura at Hongo Otorhinolaryngology Clinic, 4 Chome-2-8 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku. Clinic setting. Board certified Allergologist. [www.hongoent.com/english](http://www.hongoent.com/english)

And a doctor at the University of Tokyo Hospital in the Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Dept. Tatsuya Yamasoba. He was really great too. You’ll need a referral of course to avoid the extra hospital charge.

I would go to Dr. Kimura first (if that location is accessible to you). She referred me to Dr. Yamasoba for a more specialized smell test.

  4. I am getting a allergy skin prick test today from Yokohama City University Medical Center.

Required a recommendation letter from my local hospital.

Apparently need big university hospitals to do this?

Had to go for initial consultation first before booking the test which was a few weeks out.
