I definitely am just paranoid about getting rabies right? 😂 like theres no chance it actually had it?
It was an otter at an otter cafe in harajuku, i asked the employees and i think they understood what i was saying in english? They said they have shots
And also they work with them everyday so how would they have rabies
I get anxious a lot….. so i guess itd be nice to know other people’s opinions!
Especially because it’s a different country from the United States I don’t know if i should be concerned lol.
It also didn’t draw blood, just lightly scratched my finger with its teeth, like i guess it only broke the top layer of skin?

I would say you most likely have nothing to worry about I mean it’s a business that features otters to interact with I doubt people would visit those places if there was danger of rabies from a scratch imagine the kind of legal issues that would come. Any sensible business would have prevention in place to avoid these issues.
Was it worth the ¥1600? I wanted to do it on my last day in Tokyo, but opted to keep that money for more souvenirs.
Japan is generally considered to be rabies-free.
And this is why you shouldn’t support these kind of places. They are wild animals not pets. Even more cruel than a zoo
Sorry there is an otter Cafe? How the hell I miss that while I was there. Where and what is this places name?
Japan is rabies free. You’ll be fine
