**TL;DR -** Where would you travel to if you were suddenly given a three day weekend?
I and my boyfriend unexpectedly have three consecutive days off towards the end of June (Sat–>Mon). I’m trying to find a fun/interesting and not crazy expensive weekend trip we could do, keeping in mind that it will probably be a bit rainy around then. We’ve lived in Japan over six years and are based in Chiba, but are happy to travel by train/plane. Neither of us have a driver’s license.
We’re open to any suggestions. Thanks everyone!
Half rant but also curious if anyone has a good guess or actual answer. Why is shipping from Japan internationally right now so expensive than from other countries in Asia? I checked pricing for international shipping companies from few other close by countries and it’s half or even less than japans rates in many cases.
Do people rent spaces for their babies birthdays here? Are there specific places that are known for that?
My baby’s first birthday is in June and I think it will be too warm to have an outdoor party. Probably looking at having 8-10 babies plus parents.
Best place in Tokyo to exchange a large amount of yen (500,000+) for korean won?
hi is it better to drive from miyazaki ken (kyuushu) to chiba ken? or just hire a courier service for car?
Anyone know where to buy some panda dunks?
I want to buy some stylish shorts (men)
any suggestions for some relatively high waisted ones??
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a brick and mortar place in Tokyo to buy confetti cannons (so not Amazon). I’m in Ryogoku/Kinshicho area but will go wherever to get them. Looking for ones that are specifically about 30 centimetres/12 inches for a theatre production.

World’s sweatiest armpits here and I’m sick of this shit. Any decent antiperspirants (not deodorant) available in Japan?
Any companies that ship like, nice high-end omiyage type stuff (gift baskets, food etc) overseas? An お世話になった principal is leaving after like 30 years and I was hoping to get him something nice.
What’s something unique to see in Osaka?
Looks like I was affected by the Revolut leak/issue. Anyone else?
Are Japanese school grounds typically open during Sundays? I wanted to visit one to see what it’s like when I go to Japan.
In the US, most, if not all, school grounds are open during the weekends and people like to hang out or exercise there. Of course, buildings are locked. I was wondering if I could walk around in the schoolyard of a middle school or high school when I go to Japan.
