Hi, I live currently in Japan and can’t buy anywhere my favourite Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster. I also can’t find Finacea/Skinoren. Do you know where I could buy either of these two in Tokyo? Is azelaic acid an OTC in Japan or I need prescription? I see on [amazon.co.jp](https://amazon.co.jp/) that you can buy The Ordinary azelaic acid so it means it should be an OTC right?

I just get mine from LookFantastic’s JP site. I use The Ordinary.
I don’t know if you can get a prescription, but I have rosacea and my doctor hasn’t offered, so they may not even have prescription formulations.
I use the serum from Cos de Baha. Cheap, effective, and I find it works better with my skin than The Ordinary. You can get it on Amazon, Rakuten, Qoo, or iHerb, but your best bet for fast delivery is probably Amazon.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many options available for azelaic acid here. You’ll need to get it from LookFantastic, Amazon US, or iHerb.
I bought malazapam (spelling?) from Amazon US.
i get mine from Osakadou
Paula’s Choice has a Japanese webstore.
