I am 26 with an undergraduate degree. Technically i can just apply normally but i heard new graduates are given a lot of flexibility as they aren’t expected to know anything. I figure maybe i can use this opportunity to change my field of work as it’s looking pretty bleak with the rise of AI and stuff.
I would appreciate anyone with any experience on this.

yes its called 第二新卒採用 though you will have to usually explain what have you done since your graduation and will be placed under greater scrutiny
I applied as new grad at 27, but I had just finished a master’s program. Best to just try and see what happens. Worst case scenario, they ask why you applied under that status and you say you feel like a new grad skill-wise
