Cheapest place to replace laptop keyboard

Hey, some of my Lenovo laptop’s keys recently stopped functioning, and I want to replace the entire keyboard. Where can this be done the cheapest, as my warranty period is over?
Thanks in advance.

  1. 1. buy replacement keyboard on aliexpress/amazon/whatever
    2. replace yourself or buy a pizza to a friend who can replace

Doing it at any computer shop here (assuming they even want to look at that model) would cost 15k+ minimum and you might have to bring your own parts in either way.

  2. I just bought a keyboard for my old t460s off Amazon and replaced it myself. Maybe 4000 yen for the keyboard and 10 minutes to replace it myself

  3. Lenovo may have a manual to replace parts (depends on model). Let’s check it out and think is it possible to do it yourself.

  4. As a temporary stopgap measure that’s relatively inexpensive to boot, you can buy a wireless keyboard or conventional USB-connected keyboard to tide you over. Really cheap crappy ones can be bought for JPY 1500.

  5. This is really easy to do yourself. Where are you located?

Also, good choice on the Lenovo. They make good hardware (no sarcasm).

  6. check out ifixit website to see if you think you could replace it yourself. Depending on the modell its literally just some screws. Just be carefull with the flat connection cable they tend to get damaged easily.

ps: Sorry for not providing info of a shop since I dont know any

  7. I’ve seen people selling individual keys in Yahoo Auctions 😂
