Paypay my number card points without my number app

I have a Samsung phone and for some reason the my number portal app is completely unavailable for me. I managed to get 7500 points for the 健康保険証 by doing procedure at the 7/11 ATM. But I’d like to get the 公金受取口座 reward too but it seems like that one requires the app. Does anyone know if there’s a way to do it without it?

  1. I was on the same boat and that stupid app refused to install on my Android phone. This is the work around I found.

    – Apply on your phone/computer and when they require you to login with the app choose to display a login QR code.
    – Borrow a phone that can install the app (I used my wife’s iPhone) to scan that QR code.
    – That will open their app so that you can read your card with their phone.
    – When the app is done reading, it’ll tell you to close the app and return to your device.
    – You should now be logged in on your device and can proceed with the rest of the application.
