Hi, has anyone tried these JLPT decks on JPDB? How do they compare to the Tango or Core 2.3k Decks? I noticed how the N1 only has around 8k when the JLPT requirement is 10k? How does this work?

There is no official JLPT word list so nobody knows which exact words will be on the test. Any JLPT vocabulary deck is only a guess.

These decks you link to were officially “removed” by the dev because he considers them [low quality](https://www.reddit.com/r/jpdb/comments/w3y61x/does_anyone_know_why_the_jlpt_deck_was_deleted/). You can now only find them via direct link. I would not use them. They IMO also kind of defeat the purpose of jpdb, which is to learn the words from exactly the media you are consuming.
