Hey all,
We’re looking to send a jar of Manuka Honey (250g) back to Canada. From what I can tell by searching, both USA and Canada allow shipping honey for personal uses (From [Eurosender.com](https://Eurosender.com)). There is also the canadian government site that says there is[no restrictions on honey](https://inspection.canada.ca/food-safety-for-consumers/bringing-food-into-canada-for-personal-use/eng/1389630031549/1389630282362#tab2) (Other than max 20kg) when bringing it back home on a flight, and [this page ](https://inspection.canada.ca/importing-food-plants-or-animals/food-imports/food-specific-requirements/honey/eng/1541623861846/1541623862045#a3) just lists some requirements for importing honey.

However, when we went to the post office, they brought out a sheet that said Canada does not allow importing of honey. Is this just a blocker for exporting honey on the Japan side for this one company, or is there some information I can find online about it? Thanks!

It’s on prohibited list.

It’s cheaper here in Canada at Costco than it is in Japan.
