Quizlet Learn is dead for non-learn+ users.

This really sucks. Quizlet has been my secondary option for Japanese learning, other than tutoring and writing stuff down.
Does anyone know any other options, preferably very similar to the old system?
(And before someone mentions it, I have tried Anki. I tried again after finding out about this news. It just feels like a more bare and unintuitive system in my opinion. If it works for you… than great, by all means. From what I have tested, it only has the flashcards and not some of the other writing or answering, shown in Learn.)

  1. Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for. Have you looked into Skritter Japanese by chance? I don’t know how well it might serve your purposes but it’s what I use.
It’s nice because it has definition, kana, and writing for each word and you can use pre-populated decks for common textbooks and other resources.

  2. What is unintuitive about Anki? Add the cards and review them daily. I can’t even imagine what you think is “bare” about it when it has more customisation options than most SRS software out there.

Edit: just noticed you mentioned writing and answering, can you elaborate on these?

  3. You can try memrise besides Anki. However, you can only create your own flashcards on the website. But studying works on the phone as well.
For Japanese, Renshuu is also nice but the UX is worse than memrise
