I have been a little anxious on my CoE application, my organization applied it on my behalf on 15th March and I have been told that it takes approximately 10 days to get the CoE, however a was reading the website for JP and it says it takes around 3 months.
I find disputing information everywhere around the timeline of CoE, what should be my realistic time estimate in terms of expectation ?

Depends on the visa type among other factors. What visa did you apply for?
How fast your COE is issued depends on many factors and everything between 2 weeks and 3months could be normal.
e.g.,
– HSFP visas get priority they will try to have it done in 2 weeks (10 business days)
– Work visa speed can depend on the size of your company (e.g., stock market traded companies get priority)
– Some visa types have slower/faster checks in their process (work vs dependent/spouse visas)
– current backlog or the personality/mood of the person in charge of your case
If your organisation is saying 10 days they probably have a reason for it e.g., you are applying for am HSFP visa or they have a history of receiving COEs for other people within 10 days.
Took me 21 days to get mine.
I’m from NYC, ours took 33 days to get (this was in 2020 during the height of the pandemic)
Submitted my application on 28 Jan, Got message from my lawyer informing me my CoE has been issued today, 22 March. 53 days for me.
