Pc parts: cheaper in Japan or EU

Hi all,

Are pc parts more expensive in Japan?

Considering upgrading my mobo and CPU before moving out there on a month. I would be self building.

Thanks

  2. A tad more expensive in Japan. But one thing to keep in mind. Shipping a PC in a way that it will turn on in general is á thing in itself. Especially over a long distance.

  3. Why not wait until you come visit your home and take advantage of the sweet sweet tax free?

  4. I’m not familiar with EU pricing, but check out this pretty interesting summary here:

Check out [Kakaku](https://kakaku.com/) for pricing, and if its enough of a price difference that you want to purchase before you come I’d recommend keeping the boxes and disassemble your pc before shipping it.
