Oh Japan, always the victim of WWII with plenty of apologies left unsaid themselves.
WWII is so far removed from our generation that it’s not even possible to imagine what it was actually like. As far as I’m aware, everyone responsible for any of the terrible things that any country did during the war are either dead or about be.
Practically speaking, there’s no one left now to hold accountable for what happened then, and so forever mewling about about the sins of the fathers is pointless and irritating.
