Can someone confirm if for student visas for students from OECD countries (ie USA), that you need only a proof of funds from your bank and not multiple years of translated statements? I really don’t feel like getting 200+ pages translated to prove I have $15k in the bank (income is not a problem as that amount is around 4 months of typical savings after expenses for me). I moved it to a new sofi account last week so that if they do push on the statements I’ll just have a single statement to give them with one lump sum transfer, and I’ll just say it’s my only bank account. I’m acting as a sponsor for someone if it matters.
