    Yokohama Port is already effectively a military port; it’s where Japan repairs and overhauls its own warships, such as the conversion of _Izumo_ from a helicopter-carrying destroyer to one capable of fielding the F-35C.

  3. Interesting. A UK warship was docked in Yokohama for a month or two earlier this year. I wondered what would warrant such a long stay.
