In about a week and a half i’ll be leaving for a two week trip to Japan. I would love to learn some travel phrases. I’ve tried a ton of different apps, Drops, Japanese Pod, Pimsluer, etc but all of them see to focus on actually learning the language. Do you have any recommendations for apps/resources to learn some essential travel phrases?

Look for “Japanese phrasebook” on Amazon. If you need it sooner, bookstores (at least where I live) almost always carry short language courses for travel. The “xxx in 20 days” type.
What you’re looking for is more like a phrasebook. The downside to those is, knowing at least a little of the language is helpful in case someone wants to start a short conversation with you.
