Hi all
I started trying to make sushi at home, tried with a classic cheap bamboo mat and here is the result of my first attempt.
Thing is – I had a hard time cleaning the mat as a lot of rice got stuck in between the bamboos. I had to pick them out by hand to clean it.
The mat is not wrapped, it’s just the bamboo.
It there a recommended mat to work with? Silicone perhaps?

Do yourself a a favor and purchase a Hasegawa.
