Im going to move to Japan for work for a year, the area of work is in Kobe and i was wondering if there’s any bank there that a foreigner like me can register so i can send some funds to my family in my country.
Also any halal restaurants and stores too?

Should be able to open a bank account with any major bank as long as you have a valid residency card.
As for transferring money, use the Wise app. Much better rates.
If you want a credit card, apply at Rakuten as most banks will reject you.
