**EDIT: we are no longer looking for applicants, thank you to everyone who inquired.**
*(thank you to the mods for allowing me to post this)*
Cambridge English (near Fukudamachi Station on the Senseki Line in Sendai) is looking for a fourth full-time teacher to start in spring (somewhat flexible: late March would be ideal, April or May possible).
**Teachers should be in Japan** and have experience working with Japanese children. Fluent/professional level English required. We can support visa applications (to renew or change visa type).
280,000 yen a month, 40 hours (around 25 teaching hours), friendly and professional team, no split shifts/no offsite classes. Annual raise and annual bonus from the second year.
Full-time hours are Tuesday to Friday 12:30-21:30, Saturdays 10:30-19:30. Usual schedule 25 or fewer classes a week (classes are 40, 50, or 60 minutes long).
Teach children 5-18 in small classes with support from admin staff and teaching assistants, develop lesson plans and materials, and help with routine tasks.
We have a strong JHS and SHS program focused on extensive reading and fluency practice.
Materials creation, video production, web design (WordPress), social media experience would be a plus.

\* School has fewer than 5 full-time employees so does not yet enrol staff in shakai hoken -this may change soon. Teachers are enrolled in unemployment insurance and workers’ comp, and must join kokumin nenkin and kokumin kenko hoken themselves through the city office.

I am interested. I hope it is okay to ask here, but do you guys cover moving costs? I live in Iwate now and went through some unpleasant series of events with the ALT company I am working for now.
At 280,000 yen a month, why would I choose this place over a company like AEON etc. which offer a pay raise after a year?
Are you guys still looking for someone?
What are the requirements for this job in terms of educational background?
