Doctor/hospital for migraines in Tokyo or Chiba?

Hi, I’ve posted about my illness story more than once here, so I’ll spare everyone from that. Basically, I’ve been talking to a couple of providers for a while and they all brought up that instead of a condition called “cervicogenic dizziness” which is dizziness originating from the neck, I actually might have a sort of atypical migraine known as “vestibular migraine.” Treatment for this is NOT the same as a typical migraine, so they recommended I find a doctor who is very knowledgeable on the many different types of migraines out there.

So, I’d like to ask if anyone has any recommendations. Tokyo or Chiba (not too far from Tokyo, please). I can speak Japanese, so language isn’t a problem.

  1. I don’t know much about that type of migraine, but I’d imagine you’d have to see a neurologist. I’m sorry if it’s not the right place to go to, but check out this hospital website:

It’s in West Tokyo, Kodaira. Hopefully you can get some information from here. Good luck, I hope you find the right place!

  2. Weird. Docs have always recommended me a specific specialist; not just “you need to a find a [insert speciality] specialist.”
