Would i be allowed if i continue working remotely in Japan? My spouse has an Engineer visa in Japan and we are planning of getting a Spouse visa for me, but it would be really nice if i can still continue working. My company has a Japan office, but I wont be allowed to work there as I am not in effect employed by our Japan branch.

If your spouse has a visa you are not getting a “Spouse Visa”. That is for spouses of Japanese nationals. What you are getting is a *Dependent* visa.
Which yes, allows you to work. But only part time, at 28 hours per week.
